Title: Main FIMK node service interruption
Post by: Eliphaz Fimk on January 07, 2017, 01:27:55 PM
The main node which Lompsa.com and the connection point for the downloadable thin client, is currently offline for maintenance. Running full node (FIMK server of the downloadable Lompsa package https://github.com/fimkrypto/mofowallet/releases) grants access to the FIMK blockchain which is running well on 10-15 nodes.

Backup web facility is accessible at https://wallet.fimk.fi:7886 (don't worry about the certificate error unless your transactions require super secure setup. The connection is still encrypted normally despite the error).

Main node is again up and lompsa.com is operative.

This seems to have caused some instability in the network: for example my server and Warmach's pool have forked several times. Could you have a look, what might be wrong?

I have two servers running in two physical locations, and neither are forging according to lompsa.  I guess we just wait?

Systems should be running as they always were. I suggest hard cold boot to get back on track :) (including any required measures such as blockchain reset from backup).

Forgot to mention: I had to restore from a backup from December a couple of times on both of my servers before they started staying on the main chain.

Thanks.  I'm still in process of trying to get back on right fork...
