FIMK Client discussion / i'm on a fork, again?
« on: October 27, 2014, 07:17:45 PM »
i moved to a new computer.  i think ive done everything correctly.  i downloaded the partial blockchain to get past the earlier fork.  i then kept my node offline for 12 hours to get whitelisted.

but when i open wallet, i start mining every block

i am at the correct height.

any help appreciated.

FIMK Client discussion / Blockchain re-downloading
« on: September 05, 2014, 08:48:29 AM »
I've fixed the forking issue - I am not on the fork.

BUT... something is happening that also happened to me a few weeks ago.  The Blockchain is regularly *re*-downloading.  My forging seems to stop while this is happening so i restart the client and its ok for a while (a period of hours).  But then the blockchain starts to re-download.

I'm on windows.  This happens in both the Chrome and Firefox browsers.

1. Price of an item is displayed along with the FIMK address / or a phone scannable barcode box (what's that called, Bitcoin has them all over) containing all this information.

Of course there is enough progress. If you want more, feel free to do it. You are part of this with your stake, not an outside observer. There is no such as free ride taking you to the moon.

im not really sure what you mean.  but regardless, can you list 1 or 2 examples of progress?  i know you have plans to do things in the future, but has anything been done over the past few weeks?  to me it seems like the answer is no.  but perhaps i missed some developments?

FIMK isn't a fly by night scheme. It will be well around one year from now and much stronger than now.

I just explained the block explorer situation. There is nothing anyone can do at this stage. There aren't a lot of FIMK transactions, and the live network is working just fine with the blocks visible in your browser wallet.

Professional / hobbyist FUDsters like Primitive are now monitored more closely on this forum. If all you can do is whine, better be silent.

While saving energy spent until now to whining, you could go get a few merchants to accept FIMK and earn a bounty before we start the merchant acceptance campaign.

Do you honestly think my concerns and complaints are not justified?  Do you think that there is enough progress being made with FIMK, considering the amount of support you raised during the ICO?

My concerns are legitimate.

I am hardly a professional Fudster.  I'm a top 10 holder of FIMK.

How on earth can sign up a merchant for this coin that seems little more than an experiment at this stage?

come on guys... this is getting silly now.

get your act together.  the exchange price is about to dip below IPO price.

you will lose support and the coin will die if you do not start taking *actions* - there's is plenty of talk, but NO ACTIONS.

General FIMK Discussion / Updates please?
« on: August 10, 2014, 09:29:28 PM »
Hi Dev team:  its been over a month since wallet 0.2.2 released.  That was the last development of any significance.

I for one (and I'm guessing others) would really appreciate hearing what you are up to, and a timeline for next steps.

Apart from some activity around the Logo, there has not been anything.

I hope you will consider putting some confidence back into this coin and community with a meaningful update.

Thank you.

is it normal for the JAVA app to rescan the blockchain?  mine is showing:

INFO: Will do a re-scan
INFO: Scanning blockchain...
INFO: processed block 0
INFO: processed block 5000

etc.

this is after its been running for a day+

just want to see if "re-scans" are normal

Your message and my response are in sync with the fact that FIM-DK4B-Z8ED-9RS3-7ZVRR hasn't been forging for a little while... This is you, isn't it? :)
